3 Words Changed Everything
and that is why the
Social Impact Fund was birthed
Do Your Best
These are the words my father shared with me when I asked him what I would do without him. He was more than a father; he was my best friend, my unwavering cheerleader, and my rock. Every day, every moment, I live by those words.
A Heart of Compassion:

Welcoming the Pharmacist

Only my Dad would know that his local pharmacist had nowhere to go on Thanksgiving. When my cousin arrived at my parents house for Thanksgiving dinner, she asked, “Who is that?” I said, “that is my father’s pharmacist”. Without a pause she laughed and said, “of course it is!” The compassion that my Dad extended to those around him knew no bounds, and his actions spoke louder than words.

A Legacy of Kindness and Brownies

Not a day went by that my Mom did not make someone’s day brighter. One of her many acts of love was baking the most delicious brownies. Even if we weren’t home, Mom’s brownies greeted anyone who walked through our door. In her honor, we are committed to doing an act of kindness every day.

Here’s how
we help.

We not only provide funding, but we work side by side with them
to gain the skills and confidence to succeed.

Atiya
Becoming a nurse to support her autistic son
Atiya is a hard working single mom and a medical professional with a heart of gold. As her autistic son, Airyn, got older she needed to make more money to provide him with a stable life. She decided to go back to school and get an advanced nursing degree. She was determined to do it all – work full time, go to school and take care of Airyn. But after giving it her all, she realized that she simply did not have time and money to do it all. We were delighted to help her with her school expenses. And it was not a surprise when she graduated as valedictorian of her class!

The Financial Success Program

Making large financial commitments can be scary. Our Financial Success Program empowers individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to buy a new house, save for retirement, or even launch their own business.
Young Girls in Technology
Mentors and skills for a financially secure future
The Dottie Rose Foundation encourages girls to enhance their technology skills for future benefits, making them more competitive. Their approach involves offering hands-on experiential learning, enabling girls to develop the necessary skills and explore specific areas of interest in technology. Dr. Pamela Herrera, Veranda Partners Director of Operations, understands the challenges of breaking barriers to achieve high level professional success. That’s why this was a special way to give back to other girls to succeed.

At Veranda Partners, our success is deeply intertwined with yours. We’re here to help.

Brenda Paola
She has always been eager to learn and embark on new ventures. Despite not having access to higher education this didn’t hinder her from acquiring skills in business administration, excelling in her role as a lash artist, and pursuing additional courses for self-improvement. By doing so, she aimed not only to increase her income but also to contribute to her family’s well-being. Brenda’s determination and commitment serve as an inspiring example of perseverance.”

Want to help?
A good friend of mine shared a great idea. Many times, there are people that are asking for money at a corner or by a highway. She said that she bought $15 McDonalds gift cards and kept them in her car to help people facing challenges. It is an easy way to help.
We would be delighted to send you 10 McDonald’s gift certificate cards to share.
