Founded in 2012 by cofounder Franny Millen at the age of 12, E2D began with a simple question: How can all kids do homework if some families can’t afford a computer and internet access at home?

Since 2013, E2D has collaborated with 170 schools in North Carolina. As of Summer 2023, over 36,000 families have received laptops.
